On Wednesday evening Center for Positive Sexuality hosted a Launch Event to commemorate the opening volume of the new Journal of Positive Sexuality. Held at MCC in the Valley, guests were served hors d’oeuvres and mocktails, with cute sex-positive names such as “Non-Gender Specific Pronoun” and “Walk of No Shame.” After the mixer, guests were ushered into the main room for a panel presentation led by Executive Director Emily E. Prior and Director of Research Dr. D J Williams, also the co-founding editors of the Journal. Panelists also included Editorial Board members Dr. Jeremy N. Thomas, Dr. Moshoula Capous-Desyllas, and Dr. R. Todd Hartle. The presentation included a brief overview of the Center’s Sex Positive Framework as well as Q&A with the editors.
